A Content Analysis of The Project Management Body of Knowledge on Lessons Learned.

Abstract

We analyze the Project Management Institute’s body of knowledge guide in its portrayal of lessons learned in the knowledge areas. Then, we introduce readers to situated learning theory as a broader lens with which to examine lessons learned because project learning has formal, informal, self-directed, collective, and social dimensions and practices.
