I attended a number of sessions and discussion groups at this conference related to information literacy and distance learning. I also attended the Bibliography Committee meeting of the Distance Learning Section, of which I am an active member. On the exhibit floor, I attended several vendor presentations about new services and products that they offer and about updates to products that AU Library subscribes to. The conference allowed me to network with my colleagues to find out about new and innovative services they are offering to their campus communities. This conference was especially beneficial to me this year, as I have been on research and study leave, and it has served as one more way to keep current in the field of librarianship while on leave.en
