dc.description.abstractKey features and benefits of using a semantic web in e-learning systems, along with the technology and non-technology challenges of developing semantic web based learning object services, will be examined by Dr. Xiaokun Zhang, Associate Professor of AU's School of Computing & Information Systems. Discussion, based on research and course development over the past two year, will include implementation strategies, especially focusin on personalized learning objects (or services) composition and separation of concerns with pedagogy models from adaptive learning objects through use of pluggable pedagogy ontologies.en
