Abstract
This presentation was part of a panel session on "Community Organizing and Community Economic Development" at the 2010 annual conference of the Association for Nonprofit and Social Economy Research (ANSER). Drawing on several aspects of research conducted by the BC-Alberta Social Economy Research Alliance (BALTA), it explores opportunities for convergence between the local food, sustainable communities and social economy movements.
