Can it be both? Local Food Initiatives for Social and Environmental Change in Communities
Abstract
This presentation was part of a panel session on "Planning for Growth or Planning for Equity: Potential and Challenges of Sustainable Community Development" at the Planners Network conference on Towards a Just Metropolis: From Crises to Possibilities. Drawing on several aspects of research conducted by the BC-Alberta Social Economy Research Alliance (BALTA), it explores opportunities for convergence between the local food, sustainable communities and social economy movements.
