This paper introduces a holistic model to enable business education students to become more engaged citizens. The model is based on four learning outcomes: knowledge, competency development, values, and spiritual intelligence. It extends existing paradigms of learning outcomes with the latter two concepts in order to foster re-shaping of academic curricula. The paper concludes with suggestions on how spiritual intelligence and values can be translated into pedagogical and curricular tools.en
