As we all know from our university’s vision and strategic plan, Athabasca University is dedicated to research and scholarship in various disciplines, with a particular interest in research that improves our distance delivery model. Building on this vision, the Forum worked to facilitate direct communication among participants on topics of mutual interest, enable authors to share new research findings and ideas in a supportive research culture, and to get timely and constructive feedback on work to move forward in publication. The Research Forum encouraged and benefited from good co-operation and collaboration among AU scholars. Innovative ways of thinking, writing, researching and presenting were all encouraged.
