The AU Business Research Community, an initiative shared by the School of Business (SoB) and the Center for Innovative Management (CIM), created in May 2002. The Community began by holding monthly forums, the purpose of which was to encourage research, collaboration, and exchange of ideas and information among interested AU researchers, practitioners and advocates. Research Forums to date have been led by Deborah Hurst of CIM and Fathi Elloumi of the SoB. The purpose of this document is to provide a background to the development of the forum, the success it has achieved, plans for further development of a renewed AU Business Research Community and to request university funds for that purpose.
